When you feel ready to begin…

Get present:

– Take a few deep breaths in and out.

– Remind yourself that whatever unfolds during this time is honorable.

Creating a consistent spiritual, cultural and/or nature based practice can create a safe space for you to land when you need it most.

Part 1: Release & Recall

This part of the activity is designed to help you recall and consider certain spiritual-based, cultural-based and nature-based things, activities and/or practices that have or could support you on your journey.

The more aware you are of the tools you have access too, the easier it becomes to integrate it in a moment of need.

  1. What are some spiritual based things, activities and/or practices that you recall:
    1. Have kept you rooted?
    2. Do keep you rooted?
    3. Could keep you rooted?

An example might be prayer or a sacred ritual

  • Choose one of the items on the list to focus on, and reflect on why you chose that thing, activity or practice.
  • Reflect on how you might integrate or enhance that thing, activity or practice into your life now.

Regrounding Moment

Regrounding Moment

Take a moment to breathe and thank yourself for allowing yourself to recall some of the things, activities and practices that keep you rooted.

An Invitation to Integrate

Consider how you can cultivate an intentional practice of implementing spiritual, cultural and nature-based things, activities and practices into your healing journey. Would it be useful for you to create a regular routine of revising your inventory of spiritual, cultural and nature-based practices that support you on your journey?
